Back in the late 1990s, Sex and the City presented the Rampant Rabbit to a worldwide audience. In the following years, it was difficult to find a woman who hadn’t popped down to her local Ann Summers to get her own version of the now-infamous vibrator. Women were talking about sex and what they did and didn’t like. Sex t...

With the most recent Woody Allen film To Rome With Love getting a thorough panning from critics, it is a good time to ask, are films by "auteur" directors works of high cinematic art or simply dull and boring?
The term auteur, is French for “author”. It refers to a director whose films have a distinct style, tone and an ensemble of regular cast me...

Who would you play in a stage production of Grease? If you say “Sandy,” then I’m afraid this simply isn’t going to work. Rizzo, on the other hand, we can totally party.
Rizzo was the bad girl that I grew up adoring. She was the bold and brassy free spirit of Rydell High who ruled the school with her acid tongue.

I have always had a huge admiration for female singers.
Gwen Stefani remains my number one girl crush and I will always adore her and No Doubt.
They are one of the most famous female-fronted bands of all time. Stefani is the face and the soul of it all. Growing up, I found their music incredibly empowering. So much so that me and my best friend made

This past weekend, Lady Gaga charmed the people of London (aka Twickenham) as her Born This Way Ball finally came to the UK.
I attended the BTWB on Saturday, her opening night, and was basically hyperventilating with excitement as we sat impatiently through The Darkness's set, waiting for Mother Monster to finally reveal herself. She hit the stage only 15 minutes late - surely some sort of Pop Record in itself - and everyone promptly lost their shit.
