We will start this review by stating that we know everyone reading BitchBuzz is a diva. (Whether or not you'd like to admit it...)
You're probably a glorious, strong, sassy, out-spoken woman that the world should sit up and take note of. We will also state the obvious, being this type of TOWANDA woman comes along with what might be a wee-bit of stress.

When it comes to HBO’s new series, True Blood, there seems to be two schools of thought: love it or hate it. As a Six Feet Under and Alan Ball loyalist, I of course had to give the series a shot; while it’s intentionally a far cry from SFU, I’ve come to appreciate how darkly over the top the premise is…and how much we can glean from the likes of Sookie Stackhouse and her vampire boyfriend Bill Compton.

If you're looking for a little inspiration this cold, Monday morning - I seem to have stumbled upon a little gem on Youtube. If you're a huge Tori Amos fan, this will probably be old news to you - but if you've yet to hear of the PS22 Chorus in Brooklyn, New York , you are in for a magnificent treat.

The Times have compiled a list of the 50 biggest and best movies coming out in 2009. The list consists of the usual suspects: any film that stars Cameron Diaz, is based on a comic book, or is directed by a Tarantino wannabe.

If there’s one thing ‘common pleasure’ Neil Gaiman excels at, it’s pitching a book so that it’s suitable

Everyone, apparently, loves the 80's. I was only alive for a good five years in the 80's and most of those years were spent crawling, drinking out of bottles, and eating soft foods - so I'm more of an late 80's to mid 90's sort of gal when it comes to loving retro goodies.

Although Sailor Jerry may have been given the birth name of Normal Collins, he quickly proved that he was anything but normal. Becoming a sailor at 19, he traveled the world, got some ink, and opened his first tattoo shop in Honolulu's China Town - the only place on the island where men could get tattoos.

Children veer from one extreme to another; it’s to be expected. When adults do it, it’s fascinating, troubling – and more than a little annoying.
Perhaps it is for this reason that, try as I might, I never warmed to Reva Mann over the course of her autobiography. The daughter of a progressive yet devout Orthodox rabbi, Mann spent her teens and early adulthood rocketing from the arms of gentile to the closeted life of a seminary in Israel. She abandons her life of rebellion in an episo...
