This summer, BitchBuzz and Marie Curie Cancer Care have teamed up, and are inviting you to throw a Blooming Great Tea Party to raise money for a great cause.
It can be anything from a fabulous vintage-inspired high tea with the girls, to a garden tea party with the family, to a simple tea run and cakes in the office with colleagues. However you choose to do it, it’s a great way to get together with friends and family and do something fun for charity.
Marie Curie Nurses provide free care for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses all over the UK and every little bit helps. Money raised from Blooming Great Tea Parties will help them provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes. In fact, every £20 raised pays for an hour of care by Marie Curie Nurses.
The official tea party season is from June 12 to July 12 but it doesn’t matter if you’re a little late.
As well as helping raise money for a brilliant cause, as an added bonus one lucky BitchBuzz-reading tea party host will be picked to have the cost of their party covered by John Lewis, to the tune of £300! Two almost-as-lucky runners up will each take away a £50 John Lewis voucher, to help their parties look extra special.
