Lady Gaga was on Jonathan Ross this past Friday, and you may have noticed something interesting about her interview. Not that she's slightly strange, not that she's endearingly awkward, but that she was sipping ginger tea out of an incredibly stylish tea cup.
Then, in a performance at Radio 1's Live Lounge, there was a shot of GaGa crooning away at her piano, and lo and behold, next to her is that beautiful tea cup. It's purple. It's golden. It's fabulous. (Yes, I'm seriously in love with that tea cup.)
They've even taken a terribly artistic photo of her tea cup and her piano:
Apparently the other night Lady GaGa accidentally left her tea cup in a posh London restaurant, and apparently "demanded" that someone go back to get it.
Obviously, The Sun would like you to believe that this was unreasonable - but let's be honest - if you accidentally left your favorite tea cup that you travel around everywhere with in a restaurant, you'd make a fuss and have someone go find it for you, too.
This is such a topic of interest that GaGa's people have even released a statement about the incident, saying:
"Lady GaGa does not want to reveal anything
about the teacup itself, but drinking ginger tea is very good for singers.”
A *source* tells The Sun that they can't see what all the fuss is over, as it's "just a regular tea cup" and says "Made in China" on the bottom of it.
Um, I don't know, maybe it's sentimental?
Regardless, it's one hot tea cup. Purple, floral China tea cups like GaGa's are hard to find - but there are a few online and on eBay that compare:
1. "Purple Violets" Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer
2. Gold and Pink Fruit Tea Cup
3. Shelley Purple Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer
Plus, if you'd like to be completely stalkerish and drink ginger tea out of your Lady Gaga-esque tea cup, you can find it at Whittards, or any other shop that sells tea.
