The Lancelot Knight Leather goods factory is based Northumberland, England. They use only the finest materials and expert skills, to make sure that each leather product is of the best quality, each piece made by hand.
One of my favourite things about the factory is that it’s family-run business that has been open since 1902 and currently has four generations of the family involved at every stage of the process. They recently sent me a beautiful Avon Barrel Bag and I am wowed at its quality.
It’s available in many colours, but I received the Classic Pink shade, which isn't something I'd d usually pick but I’m utterly floored by its diversity – it literally goes with everything (Yes, even my huge green parka). Even better, it’s big enough to fit all my essentials in, sturdy with two buckles as a closure and has arm straps, or a detachable shoulder strap.
The most important thing about this bag is that it’s stylish. The Avon Barrel bag can be reworked for a daytime trip around town, straight to a night out clubbing. It’s the perfect size to mean that you can sling it over your shoulder filled with notebooks, maps and your heavy purse – the one containing the bulk of your receipts - or you can empty it out and remove the longer strap in place for a more classic, sophisticated look (containing your ID – because of course we all still need it.)
It’s the perfect autumn bag, but I definitely think it’ll also be the perfect winter, spring, and summer bag too. It truly descends the fashion barrier and it feels truly decadent. I don't see myself favouring another bag over it for a long time.
