Autoharps & Heels: The Iconic Style of June Carter Cash

It's no secret that I've a big fan of country music. Growing up, I waned to nothing more than to be a beehived, guitar playing country star like Dolly, Patsy and Reba. Unfortunately, I didn't jump on the Johnny Cash train until I was in my teens, but once I discovered June Carter Cash, it was love at first sight. The hair! The dresses! The Man! *swoon*

The Fancy Crap Mausoleum: Crappy Finds From the Net-a-Porter Vaults

It’s that time once again to take a sartorial magic carpet ride down to Net-A-Porter. Do you have your Dramamine and a kegger of aspirin? Well, restrain yourself or bust out the Head-On (apply directly to the head) and let’s proceed on this week’s vault adventure. Before I unshield your eyes, I have to give you a bit of info about (ahem) classic designer Emilio Pucci. Emilio Pucci is notorious for bright colors and geometric patterns, more easily read as, shit that would make...

Fit, Cut and Colour: Why We Love AlexanderLonge

Without wanting to sound like I am just about to cash in my pension and pour myself a tall glass of lemon squash, these days, clothes are just not made like they used to be. Take Topshop for example. They may have nailed their ability to replicate catwalk pieces, but sadly the similarity ends with aesthetics as their clothes have a tendency to be ill-fitting and fall apart quickly.

The Miss Godiva Gold and Tattoo Me Tights from Bebaroque

This week while I was perusing Kingdom of Style, some amazing studded tights by Bebaroque were brought to my attention. The little gold discs that adorn the back of these black tights are just enough to add a little bit of disco (something I strive to do on a daily basis) to what is essentially a slightly dull wardrobe staple without making you look like a bad Abba tribute act.

Get The Look: Kirsten Dunst's Hangover Romper Suit

Yesterday was a public holiday in England, which meant three things. One; I was hungover, two; I was feeling exceptionally lazy, and 3; I was in my pajamas. Taking those three things into consideration, let’s have a look at Kirsten Dunst’s outfit. I would hazard a guess that she too is perhaps hungover, feeling lazy, and maybe, just maybe, in her pajamas too.

Tuesday's Treat: Tried & Tested : Burt's Bees Radiance Eye Crème

Today’s treat is brought to you by the letter M and the number 50... Yes, global superstar and leotard-botherer Madonna celebrated her 50th birthday last week by packing her legwarmers, cough drops and rainbow family into a series of plastic holdalls and heading out on her latest world tour, Sticky and Sweet. And in homage to that self-same fantastically-named trip through the stadia of the world, today’s treat is both sticky and sweet... and of particular interest to...

BitchBuzz's Designer of the Moment: Erdem

I have recently fallen head-over-heels in love with an Erdem dress from their Autumn range so it was obvious choice for Erdem to our favourite designer of the moment.  Erdem Moralioglu is originally from Montreal, Canada but is now based in London where he has been showing at London Fashion Week for several seasons. He trained at the Royal College of Art (closing their graduate show no less) and then moved to New York to work with Diane von Furstenberg.

Susan Stockwell's Paper Tiger Exhibit: A Good Idea on Paper

London’s Canary Wharf is hardly the most fashionable place in London. As the capital’s financial district, it caters more for the suit and tie crowd than budding hipsters in ironic outfits. My purple-haired, head-to-toe vintage wearing flatmate works in the sterile towers of Canada Square and even she tones it down for the day job. It’s just not that kind of place, I guess. Which makes it all the more interesting that 1 Canada Square (the epicentre of businessman-chic) is home to a v...
