Birmingham is getting ready for a very stylish Saturday when Style Birmingham Live AW12 hits the city on 29 September.
Actress and singer, Martine McCutcheon will host the one-day fashion and shopping spectacular. The highlight of the event will be the ‘industry’ style fashion show, held at the ever-so-stylish shopping destination, The Mailbox.
The show will feature all of the latest autumn/winter looks and high-fashion trends alongside plenty of affordable shopping inspiration for the new season. All of the catwalk looks will be created using styles and collections from Birmingham’s top fashion retailers.
Catwalk tickets can be purchased from theticketfactory.com for £10, which include a seat at the show plus a stylish goody bag. Exclusive VIP tickets are £20 and include a premium catwalk seat at the show, a goody bag, a glass of bubbly from the Harvey Nichols’ Style bar and the opportunity to redeem a £10 Bullring shopping voucher when £30 is spent anywhere in the city centre shopping area during the weekend of the show. Shows run on Saturday 29 September at 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm and 4:30pm.
Plenty of free fashion and beauty events will be taking place all across the city centre shopping area throughout the weekend. Shoppers in the Bullring will get to experience a dark and eerie fairytale of fashion. The Show: Enchanted will take place in the Lower West Mall and be hosted by The Only Way is Essex star, Lydia Bright.
House of Fraser have organised a Little Black Dress Show and prize draw, packed with luxurious prizes. Style scouts will be combing The Mailbox to spot Birmingham’s hottest street style. Best put your gladrags on because there will be a £250 shopping spree prize for the best dressed Brummie!
