If you're a regular at the gym or consistantly hit the streets for a run, wearing quality trainers is a necessity.
However, if you enjoy walking around pain-free and like to have your feet sans blisters at all times, trainers serve as an escape from high heels, pointy boots and ridiculous platforms.
Trainers have made some sort of fashionable comeback over the last year with collaborations like the Nike x Liberty, which is a welcome change for those of us a bit bored of our black and white Converse or retro ADIDAS that now everyone and their mother are wearing.
If you're looking for some fashionable trainers that are more for wearing around town than actually going for a jog in, these kicks are for you.

Supra's Pink Party Skytop

While bright pink hi-tops aren't normally my style, these are for a good cause, and therefore totally acceptable to wear. Supra has teamed up with Elyse Walker to create a limited edition shoe to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
The Pink Party Skytop is available on SUPRAfootwear.com from October 1st, and will sell for £75 with 50% of profits going to breast cancer research.
Havaianas Lace Trainers

When I think of Havaianas, I don't automatically think "trainers" or "lace" but these shoes are really cute. Comfortable, feminine and practical, the only thing I'd worry about with these shoes is that the cream version would be a complete mess after one rainy afternoon.
These lacy babies sell for £50 a pop over at Havaianas.com
