Lady Gaga's "Judas" video finally debuted last week, in all its badass biker pseudo-religious glory. Gaga explained to E! News' Giuliana Rancic that the video is a "metaphor for forgiveness and for betrayal and darkness being one of the challenges in life as opposed to being a mistake". She also said despite Rancic alluding to the fact that certain conservative religious groups had condemned the song (and Gaga) for being blasphemous, she says the only controversial thing about the video, in her heavily liquid-lined eyes, is that she's "wearing Christian Lacroix and Chanel in the same frame".
Oh Gaga, you do slay us.
The Judas video really does speak for itself, and it is an impressive if not surprising directorial debut from both Gaga and her choreographer Laurieann Gibson. The visuals are, as usual, stunning, however, it's the ghetto fabulous-cum-"Fresco come to life" fashion aspects that really make the video so epic.
As usual, Lady Gaga's tireless, genius stylist Nicola Formichetti has taken the effort to list the fashion credits of each look in the video - so if you're looking to recreate your own "Judas" look, here's a breakdown of what/who Gaga was wearing throughout the video.

Formichetti says: "Purple catsuit and gloves by Mugler, Cape by Perry Meek/Haus of Gaga, crown by Marianna's Designer Jewelry, Jewelry by Erickson Beamon, Heart Glasses by Haus of Gaga."

Formichetti says: "Perfecto Jacket by Schott, Bra and Panties by Haus of Gaga, Boots by Alexander McQueen, Tights by Capezio."

Formichetti says: "Outfit by Christian Lacroix archive, Nail Jewelry by Aya Fukuda, Makeup by Val Garland."
