Last week Apple finally unveiled its new iPhone 5, and you couldn’t say tech fans weren’t chomping at the bit to find out what was in store.
According to intelligence service Hitwise, one in every 1,000 searches online last week by Britons were for this phone. And you know Apple’s flagship store in London’s Regent Street? It already has people setting up camp outside as they vie to be one of the first in the queue to get hold of one.

Typing on an iPad screen is not a pleasurable experience. It feels like tip-tapping on the glass in a pet shop, attempting to wake up slumbering gerbils - only without the cute frolicking gerbil pay-off.
Any iPad user who wants to do actual work on their device will know the feeling all too well.

Scrolling through the smartphone apps selling on iTunes, the Android Store and BlackBerry App World, it’s easy to often think, I could do better than that!
Some apps, such as Fruit Ninja, Instagram and Angry Birds – which has recently surpassed one billion downloads - are genius in their simplicity and are sure to stand the test of time. But others…well, let’s just say some aren’t so great.
